1965 Chevrolet C20 Pickup Truck
Van Pershing     Tucson, Arizona

October 2001
This is what the truck looked like the first time around. The Light Driftwood Metallic paint job closely resembled the original fawn color. It only lasted a few years before the sun started to take it toll.

16x7 Outlaw II wheels
'83 Chevy truck tilt wheel, factory air and a Kenwood CD/FM stereo.
Factory Air. The system was mated with the compressor from the '83 Suburban and converted R134a.
Steel Horse after market seat with seat belts from G.E.M. Street Rod Products. Click on small picture to enlarge.
Fabric glued to the steel door panels and carpet glued to the lower door give a finished look and the Chevelle armrests are much nicer than the original truck units.
Oak bed wood with several coats of spar varnish
Small block 350, Q-Jet, Heddman headers, 700R4 transmission. The Q-jet has since been replaced with a GM TBI system.
Headliner: Same fabric as the door panels glued in place with contact cement.
